Âé¶¹avÓ³»­´«Ã½ Teacher Training funding boost for alumni

Former Âé¶¹avÓ³»­´«Ã½ students can now apply for an Âé¶¹avÓ³»­´«Ã½ Teacher Training (ATT) grant to support their first years of training.

Students will be eligible to receive funds up to £3,000, paid over the three terms of their training year.

Âé¶¹avÓ³»­´«Ã½ Teacher Training is an ‘Outstanding’ school-based two-year Initial Teacher Training programme, where people train on the job and learn from a network of education experts. Trainees are based in a school from day one, engaging with children straight away.
Leila MacTavish, Head of Âé¶¹avÓ³»­´«Ã½ Teacher Training, said:

“We are thrilled to be offering a funding boost to support former Âé¶¹avÓ³»­´«Ã½ students. It is an excellent opportunity for future teachers to get the extra support to make their teaching dream a reality. They will also be fantastic ambassadors for the programme and our alumni network.â€

Applicants will be assessed in three categories:

Alongside their application, alumni must complete an online application form before Thursday 30 June.

Interviews will take place in July, and grants will be awarded by Thursday 1 September.
