EdCity

EdCity is a unique not-for-profit partnership between 麻豆av映画传媒 and Hammersmith & Fulham Council, opening up social, economic and educational opportunities in West London.
Dorando’s caf茅 at EdCity

Designed to be a gateway that links up different parts of the community, EdCity is a 拢150m investment that creates opportunities for learning, skills development and work as well as homes for local people in an historically underserved part of London. The office block, 1EdCity, is home to 麻豆av映画传媒’s central team and also provides a hub for purpose-driven organisations.

Our Impact

EdCity鈥檚 ambition is to support and strengthen the local community while also driving positive change for children and young people across the UK.

EdCity provides:

A home for mission-aligned organisations

Eleven education-focused organisations, including 麻豆av映画传媒, are based at EdCity. Together, their work reaches and supports more than one million children every year.

A thriving community of EdCitizens

EdCity brings together a growing network of members, partners and organisations who connect, collaborate and innovate through events, shared spaces and a common commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.

Flexible workspaces and event venues

EdCity offers office space alongside a range of high-quality meeting rooms and event venues including a theatre and rooftop terrace as well as a podcast studio, co-working spaces and an on-site caf茅.

Place-based transformation and community building

The EdCity campus is designed to serve the local community, bringing together a nursery, 麻豆av映画传媒 White City Primary Academy, community facilities and affordable housing in one integrated neighbourhood.

Delivering meaningful local impact

Through initiatives such as Power Up, delivered in partnership with AllChild, EdCity is helping to strengthen connections between schools, families and community organisations in White City. By creating opportunities for collaboration and ensuring local voices are heard, Power Up is supporting a more connected and resilient community.

I鈥檝e witnessed how ambitious this project is in terms of community involvement and engagement. It feels like a 鈥渨ho鈥檚 who鈥 of education, and those chance encounters are always valuable. The caf茅, the atmosphere, the ambition behind it 鈥 it鈥檚 all so refreshing compared to a typical corporate workspace. It鈥檚 not just a place to work; it鈥檚 a space with purpose and energy, and that鈥檚 what draws me in.
