Â鶹avÓ³»´«Ã½ Culture

Â鶹avÓ³»´«Ã½ Culture works across Â鶹avÓ³»´«Ã½ schools to ensure that every child at Â鶹avÓ³»´«Ã½ experiences a rich and meaningful arts and cultural education. The work of Â鶹avÓ³»´«Ã½ Culture sits at the heart of Â鶹avÓ³»´«Ã½â€™s mission: potential, happiness, thriving, human flourishing.

Through Â鶹avÓ³»´«Ã½ Culture, we are creating a bold and distinctive programme of cultural engagement that brings world-class artistic experiences into schools and celebrates children’s innate creativity. Our vision is to make each school a vibrant cultural hub where creativity, confidence, and artistic knowledge flourish. We are also committed to sharing good practice across the education sector so our learnings can benefit many more young people beyond Â鶹avÓ³»´«Ã½.

Â鶹avÓ³»´«Ã½ Culture’s aims are:

  1. Curriculum – All schools have a broad and balanced curriculum including a wide range of arts subjects taught confidently by teachers.
  2. Extra curricular – There are opportunities for students to extend their learning beyond the classroom, develop their interests, build their skills and create with others.
  3. Universal entitlement – All students in our schools experience high-quality art which broadens horizons and engages imaginations.

It’s been really exciting to see our children’s imagination grow and develop. Going forwards, they’re going to be more confident to give things a go. To speak out and have their voice heard. They’ve had their eyes opened to try new things.
